Project: Inner Topographies

This is a series of prints investigating intimate spaces, which imply but do not necessarily show a figurative presence. The abstraction of the images, hovering between traditional landscape and something else, portrays traces of relationships and deeper personal bonds between human beings.

This body of work also includes a collaborative artist book project, with text provided by Mary Pinkoski, the City of Edmonton Poet Laureate (2013 – 2015) from her poem Ghost Prints. Ghost Prints first appeared in print in the SNAP Spring 2014 Newsletter (pg 6) and the full text of Mary’s work can be found there. I was very fortunate to be able to work with her text for the project.
